Time to Bundle Up Against the Winter Weather

If you’re staying in, you can just turn up the heat as needed or snuggle under a cozy blanket. Unfortunately, this comfort isn’t a reality for many children in Israel. But you can make a difference by donating to the Yad Ezra V’Shulamit Coat Campaign.

What is the Yad Ezra V’Shulamit Coat Campaign?

With your help, the Yad Ezra V’Shulamit Coat Campaign will provide a winter package of a coat, boots, tights, shoes, a heater and a blanket to 400 children. This $180 per child care package helps these children both in and out of the home.

Inside, the heater warms up the room, not only for the child, but for their siblings and parents as well. A heated home reduces mold and humidity, lowering the risk of cold-related health issues for the entire family. Meanwhile, the blanket helps the child sleep better, ensuring they wake up rested and ready to tackle the day ahead.

Outside, the tights, shoes, boots, and coats ensure that these children are protected against the harsh, winter weather.

Many Israeli families struggle to afford enough energy to meet their needs, often needing to prioritize essentials like cooking over heating their homes. Some households face limited access to electricity, making it difficult to keep their homes warm.

Your support of the Yad Ezra V’Shulamit Coat Campaign provides 400 children with brand-new coats, boots, tights, heaters, and blankets to keep them physically warm and emotionally cared for.
