Is Corona behind us? Not yet, but almost. Most of Israel is beginning to open up, Thank G-d. Stores are opening up – those that have made it through covid, gatherings are being permitted and restaurants are open, although many went out of business, to those with antibodies and for those that have been immunized.
Yad Ezra V’Shulamit once again steps up to the plate with a fleet of 10 trucks, 3 warehouses, 80 distribution points and a lot of love to get food to people who need a helping hand for the holidays.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. No-one is more desperate than a working parent, who never had to ask anyone for anything, finding themselves out of work for 6 months and having no inkling from where the next meal for their children will come.
For poor people in Israel, corona made getting basic food supplies a real struggle. With 1,000,000 people unemployed, many people are unable to provide the proper nutrition for their families.
